We have selected five cycling tours for you on the road in Grand Châtellerault, ideal for adults and teenagers from 11 years old !
1. Around the Ozon
During this route you will have the opportunity to pass through Châtellerault, Availles-en-Châtellerault, Senillé-Saint-Sauveur and Targé. Classified “easy”, this 28 km bike ride will allow you to discover the small heritage but also breathtaking views of our countryside!
2. In the valleys of the Luire
Discover the small towns crossed by the Luire: Coussay-les-Bois, Pleumartin, Leigné-les-Bois. This 25,4 km cycling loop is perfect for families thanks to several picnic areas.
3. On the banks of Creuse
Enjoy the banks of the Creuse passing through Dangé-Saint-Romain, Buxeuil and Saint-Rémy-sur-Creuse. This 29,5 km bike ride will allow you to discover picturesque monuments as well as a superb panorama of the troglodytes of Saint-Rémy-sur-Creuse.
4. Around the Envigne
Classified as very easy, this small 19km cycle touring circuit runs through the towns of Lencloître, Doussay and Cernay. Viewpoints, wooded areas and castles are on the program.
5. Between Envigne and Courance
Go through Scorbé-Clairvaux, Colombiers, Marigny and Ouzilly for a 27km bike loop rich in varied discoveries. You will see both the Futuroscope, Poitiers and the castle site of Haut-Clairvaux!
