Summer is coming and June is getting hot, we have prepared some ideas for outings to take advantage of the sunny days and the tourist sites!

1 – Sailing in a mini boat!
What if you improvised as a navigator for an afternoon? This is what the mini port of Cenon-sur-Vienne offers you every weekend in June and every afternoon in the summer!

2 – A new character to discover
Maybe you already guess what’s behind it? And yes, it’s indeed the new Tèrra Aventura in Vicq-sur-Gartempe! Take advantage of this fun and interactive treasure hunt to visit the charming village of Vicq! Available from June 24.

3 – From tree to tree
Discover the new features of the Aven'Thuré treetop adventure course with 8 courses over 4 hectares of forest, an orienteering game and 37 zip lines! The park welcomes you every weekend in June and every day in summer (except Tuesdays).

4 – Cool off safely
During your adventures you may want to swim safely! Here is the list of swimming spots: Lac de Châtellerault: supervised swimming from June 1 to August 31 from 14 p.m. to 19 p.m. 7 days a week Parc de Crémault in Bonneuil-Matours: supervised swimming from July 7 every afternoon from 1 p.m. to 14 p.m. Rivière de Lésigny-sur-Creuse: supervised swimming from July 19 to September 8 from 2 p.m. to 14 p.m. 19 days a week Lac de Saint-Cyr: supervised swimming on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays in June from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free – 10 years old, 18€ from 5 to 1 years old, 5€ adults (12€ from 3 p.m.) and 2€ reduced rate for students, middle school students, high school students, disabled people, job seekers (17€ from 2 p.m.)

5 – Have fun with the family at Château de Monthoiron
The castle offers two superb accessible courses for the little ones, you will have the opportunity to have fun following in the footsteps of Leonardo da Vinci and for the more playful to discover the unusual world of LEGO® in the heart of the estate's forest. Site open every weekend in June and every day in summer!

6 – Monthoiron and its thousand secrets
Are you in Monthoiron? What if you took the opportunity to discover the Adventure-Games® The Humachaï and the curse of the invisible flower? Using your backpack you will have to solve the mystery of the town. Available all year round.

7 – Add a story point to your outings
The village of Angles-sur-l'Anglin, labeled one of the Most Beautiful Villages in France, is home to an exceptional prehistoric site: a 20m sculpted frieze. This is the opportunity to discover its treasures as a family and go back 15 years! The site is open in June from Tuesday to Sunday from 000:10 a.m. to 00:12 p.m. and from 30:13 p.m. to 30:18 p.m. (closed on Mondays) and every day in the summer from 00:10 a.m. to 00:19 p.m.

8 – Board the Jehan Martin
This traditional boat and its captain offer you guided tours on the Vienne. Near the freshness of the water, you will discover the exceptional landscape from the river!

9 – An Acadian year
On the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the return of the Acadians to Poitou, the Patrimoine d'Archigny association and the Acadian Cousins are temporarily opening a museum in Acadian farm n°6. Open every Saturday and Sunday from 15 p.m. to 18:30 p.m. from June 2 to September 17 + August 15, 2023. Immerse yourself in the Acadian world thanks to the activities offered: – June 24, Claudine Pauly conference “the marquis de Pérusse des Cars , protector of the Acadians” + Françoise Glain “the life of the Acadians of the Line” – June 25: market organized by the municipality – July 2: “Furgeacadie” reading of poems on Acadia by Henri Furgé and songs about the 'Acadie, by Annette and Jean-Claude Cardinaux – July 22, screening of the film The Acadian Odyssey by Alain Normand.

10 – Enter the heart of the Pinail Nature Reserve
Like every year, the Nature Reserve program offers you a very full agenda of outings! Discover the fauna and flora with your family! Accessible all year round, visits available on the Pinail calendar.
