SATURDAY
Urban atmosphere at the water's edge to start. Head to the site of the former royal factory where the Châtellerault skatepark takes pride of place. Since 2017, 1360 m2 overlooking the river have been dedicated to snow sports in all its forms. No matter your level in skateboarding, scootering or BMX: the bowl space and the street zone will challenge you.
- Have to do : admire the industrial heritage of La Manu, visit the art and industry museum The Grand Atelier, stroll in the Director's garden, embark on a walk along the water on the Jehan Martin, go up to the Vilmouth Towers walkway for a 360-degree view of the city.
- The alternative : the pumptrack course in Les Ormes to follow in the footsteps of Clara Rouget, resident of the town and French BMX champion.
Sunday
Play sports, cool off and contemplate... This is the Sunday program!
Vienne, Creuse, Anglin and Gartempe invite you to discover the heritage, fauna and flora in a different way. Appreciate the rivers from a unique perspective thanks to canoeing.

Put on your sneakers and go exploring Grand Châtellerault by jogging. Your running wanderings can take you into town, into the forest, into the countryside... The result: magnificent panoramas and bucolic paths. Follow the hiking trails, waterways or tips from local runners.
Have to do : take the time to meditate and photograph our beautiful landscapes
The alternative : Nordic walking or cani-hiking to work on your stride
FRIDAY
We end this sporting week with one of the favorite activities of French people on vacation: hiking which allows you to combine physical exercise, escape and discoveries. Walking is sometimes the only way to access little secret corners that are worth the detour.
