1 – Visit Châtellerault with your 4-legged companion
In Châtellerault, you can discover the Architectural Journey, a heritage walk to take in the city center and the industrial part of the city. On the industrial site of the Manufacture d’Armes, you can climb to the top of the Vilmouth Towers and enjoy a panoramic view of Châtellerault. 2 – One of the Most Beautiful Villages in France open to dogs
About thirty kilometers from Châtellerault, you can discover the village of Angles-sur-l’Anglin, classified among the Most Beautiful Villages in France. In this medieval town, you can stroll through the picturesque streets, visit the Fortress of Angles-sur-l'Anglin and Wizard Rock, a reproduction of prehistoric sculptures found on site.
3 – For history lovers
In Vouneuil-sur-Vienne, discover the historic site of 732 Moussais the Battle, where Charles Martel is said to have repulsed Abd Er Rahman during the Battle of Poitiers. Enjoy a picnic and admire the panoramic view from the reading tables.

6 - Beautiful escape into nature
You can also take advantage of the many hikes in the area, as well as Green Line, a former railway line rehabilitated into a pedestrian and cycle path, ideal for nature lovers and appreciated in particular for the shade it provides. Picnic tables are set up along this path.
