Twice upon a time... One evening in December 1987, Steeven was born. Fifteen minutes later, not wanting to leave his brother alone any longer, Christopher joined him. Since then, the Twins have spent their time laughing. So they made it their job. But over thirty, and a few gray hairs later, the brothers begin to ask themselves existential questions. What if their parents had confused them at the maternity ward? Are they a fascination of Mother Nature or just a genetic anomaly? Are there enough schizophrenic twins to make a belotte? After ten years on stage, the Twins return to tell you about their double life. With tenderness, authenticity and in constant interaction with their audience, they promise you a show more alive than ever. They just want to laugh about it
It was in October 2011 that they recorded their first appearance on the show “On n'demande qu'en lire” presented by Laurent Ruquier. They will perform a total of 56 sketches in the show and will be revelations of season 2, essential in season 4, and will participate in the six ONDAR performances at the Casino de Paris in June 2013.
At the same time, they intensely experience the creation of their first show which they take on tour in 2012-2013. They fill the magnificent Sébastopol theater in Lille (1200 seats) and are sold out for 1 month at the Avignon Festival. Across France but also Belgium and Switzerland, “The Twin Men Show” is growing at the same time as its creators, to the great pleasure of those who have supported and followed them since the beginning.
In 2019, after 7 years of career as a duo on stage, and to pass the milestone (it seems that 7 years, in all couples, is a milestone) they decided to compile their best sketches in a Best of show entitled “ Grands Crus Classés”.
At the beginning of 2020, their show was on show at the Grand Point Virgule in Paris, and will be presented at the Avignon Festival in July 2020. But a global pandemic decided otherwise. Either ! During this period of forced rest, the Twins decided to write their new, more personal show, planned for 2022. In the meantime, they played 14 sold-out performances during the Festival Off d'Avignon 2021 at the Théâtre le Paris!
With dreams and projects in their heads, the Twins are flourishing in this great adventure, accompanied by a loyal and generous public, who push them more than ever to work, surpass themselves, and above all, to have fun.
