Château de Marmande

Located on the border of Touraine and Poitou, the fortified castle of Marmande will show you the evolution of a feudal fortress from the year 1000 to the present day. Mysterious graffiti reveals fragments of a forgotten history.

In the rooms, various graffiti, drawings, inscriptions, allow us to understand the life of this fortress. The first restoration campaign for this recently classified site has just ended. A walkway has been partially restored. From the top of its 30m high watchtower, you can discover a breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside
