Today made up of a keep and a castle chapel, the Haut-Clairvaux site was home to a castle, fortified by Richard the Lionheart. It is currently, and for 5 years, the subject of annual archaeological excavation campaigns aimed at partially lifting the veil on a rich medieval past.
