Centre d'Interprétation du Roc-aux-Sorciers

Castle in Angles-sur-l'Anglin
  • The Roc aux Sorciers features a carved frieze that’s over 20 metres long.
The site is recognised as the “Lascaux of sculpture” and dates back some 15,000 years, to the Magdalenian era. There’s also an 11th-century fortress that towers more than 40 metres above the River Anglin, creating a unique atmosphere and the most beautiful viewpoint overlooking the Anglin valley.
