On the sweet side, we have to mention the Poitou-Charentes region style cake, a cake made from flour, butter and eggs, which is traditionally crushed with fists to make slices. THE Cheesecake is made from fresh goat cheese, its black rind hides a soft interior. Without forgetting the delicious apricots from Montgamé.
Finally, savory lovers will not be left out with the stuffed Poitevin, a dish made from cabbage and pork, this very typical dish is eaten cold or hot, depending on the house!
