La Scandiberic is the French part of EuroVelo 3, European cycle route linking Trondheim (Norway) to Santiago de Compostela (Spain) via Denmark, Germany and Belgium. It crosses France from the north-east at Jeumont (59) to the south-west at Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port (64) over more than 1900 km and offers the longest French cycle route.

Traveling between plains and hills, historic towns and green spaces, Scandibérique offers the possibility of exploring, across 20 departments and 6 regions, numerous French terroirs, heritage and remarkable sites.

In the Vienne department, the route runs along the river of the same name for a distance of 116 km through 23 communes from Dangé-Saint-Romain to Availles-Limouzine.

Open to weekend walkers, cycle tourists looking for new challenges or even fans of slow tourism, this trail is a real invitation to meet the territories, with others, but also with yourself.
